About Us
Vincent Duwe has been incarcerated since 2015 after being wrongfully convicted of serious crimes. This blog aims to shed light on his story, the challenges he faces, and ask for help.

A horror built on lies
In March of 2015, Vincent “Vinny” Duwe was wrongfully convicted of sexual abuse by two estranged members of his family, alleged to have occurred 20 years earlier when he was 13 years old.
Fighting since 2015
While incarcerated, Vinny has earned a Paralegal certificate and from inside his prison’s law library, he works tirelessly to prove his innocence while also helping other incarcerated individuals who cannot afford legal representation.
Learn the story
In efforts to garner assistance from law professionals, Vincent has enlisted help via a documentary short film and Spotify true crime podcast that features interviews, correspondence, and conversations with Vinny, wrongful conviction experts, and others, as we follow his fight for freedom.
In a major win, Vinny successfully helped reverse the conviction of a man serving a sentence of life without parole, and has been integral in the success of multiple incarcerated individuals throughout various stages of their cases.
Vinny’s innocence is highlighted in the Spotify true crime podcast and short documentary film of the same name, Family of Conviction. The film and series depict the true story behind the case against Vinny, including corruption, and a targeted attack from a malicious prosecution spearheaded by a vengeful estranged family member, and district attorney looking to add a notch on their belt.
